Is God Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?

We don't have to wonder or be confused as to where God stands on the issue of abortion. It's a question that can be easily answered with three scriptures from the Holy Bible. Let's start with:

Deut. 30:19 " I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"

Moses is about to be called home, but before he leaves he reminds the children of Israel the choice that Yahweh has put before them. Yahweh gives us the choice--Life or Death. Our choices affect us, our children and generations to come. The result of our choice is very clear!

God is about Life! Satan is about Death!

Yahshua our Messiah said:

John 10:10  "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

Let's apply this to the unborn child in the womb. That is our seed. God wants us to choose life so that we and our seed can live, be blessed and be a blessing to the world with the gifts that he has given each and every one of us. The devil on the other hand wants to destroy what is ours, kill us and steal our destiny and that of all our future generations.

But there is always that question that so called Pro-Choice advocates pose. What if birth of the child is unwanted by the mother or is a threat to her life?...etc.

Let's consider this:

John 15:13  "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

How much more so for our future generations? Did not Yahshua lay down His life so that we could return to our intended destiny of Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven?

If you have been involved in choosing abortion of your child you can repent. Ask Yahshua (Jesus) your Redeemer and Savior to forgive you and repair your soul and He will do it for you.

Matt. 26:28  "For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."

Heb. 9:22  "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission."

How do you SHOW the world you are a disciple of the Messiah Yahshua (Jesus)?

Our lifestyle and daily behavior speaks louder than anything that we could ever say to others about who we are. As members of the body of believers (body of Christ whether we be Christians, Messianic Hebrews or Messianic Jews) have been given a commission to let our light shine for we are the light of the world.

Matthew 5:14-Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. 15) Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

There is an old adage: "Actions speak louder than words". Our actions should line up with our words and who we represent The Head of the body: Yahshua The Messiah.

What did Yahshua say about how the world would be able to identify us as His disciples?

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35) By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love for one another.

So consider this: As the body of Yahshua our Messiah, the world should see our undying love for one another. Who is the body of Christ? All those who have received Yahshua as their Savior and Redeemer and have come under His blood sacrifice is the Body of Christ.

Are we letting our denominations, our differing doctrines, our differences in understanding cause us to shun others of the body and badmouth, criticize, condemn and outright bash one another? When we do, we empower Satan our enemy and tremendously diminish the collective power that Yahshua's blood sacrifice has given us. It cripples us as a body which empowers the enemy, diminishes our light, diminishes our power and blocks others from seeing who we truly are.

So consider this: are you showing the love of Christ to those who are believers in your own church? Are you showing the love of Christ to believers not in your own church in other denominations? Do you know other believers in your neighborhood, community or city that you have shied away from just because they are a different denomination than you?

Eph 4:4  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling (5) One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (6) One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Let's make it a priority to set an example starting in our individual lives and set an example for those in our own community of believers or houses of worship. If you are a Hebrew don't bash Christians, If you are a Jew don't shun Hebrews If you are a Christian don't marginalize Hebrews and Jews who are believers etc. etc. None of us have all knowledge--every ministry, church, house of worship that is established by Yahshua the Messiah have been given a portion to share with the body. (Romans 12:3-5)
Let's make a concerted effort to love all of those in the Body of Christ!

Eph 4:1  I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, (2) With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;(3) Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
